Evolution of the Book by Larisa
2019
I began illustrating Stinky Says in 2019. The illustrations were near completion when I tragically lost all the files on my computer and had to start all over again. My art skills had improved over that time so I chose to draw the book in a different style.
The only images from 2019 I had were ones I took on my phone of the computer screen so the quality isn’t good.
2020
In 2020 I was nearly finished with all the illustrations in the new version but I wasn’t confident in the art style. This resulted in the art style not looking the same over time. I felt that going further into the book it would be much more convenient to have an art style that wouldn’t change over the years so I found a style which was simple, cute and colorful. That was the start of the Official Stinky Says art style!
2021
In 2021 I completed the illustrations for the book. I felt confident in the art and am looking forward to future projects with Stinky!
